We’re delighted to announce that Anabas’ Managing Director, Alistair Craig, has been recognised among this year’s Workplace Leaders Top 50 – a list of the most influential, inspiring, and innovative leaders making a positive impact on their workplace and industry.  

The chosen Top 50 leaders are recognised for driving change and transformation in their respective organisations. All nominees represent outstanding leadership across different categories and have played an active role in the workplace and facilities management community.  

Alistair’s recognition as an inspiring workplace leader reflects his commitment to fostering the best employee engagement possible at Anabas. For Alistair, having the right people is essential to delivering a world-class service, that’s why his focus is creating a workplace culture that engages and cares for staff to motivate them to perform at their best.

Our most recent engagement scores soared above industry average at 86%, showing that Alistair’s approach is working. Alistair recognises the importance of a laser-focus on employee engagement that is measured regularly, with feedback taken seriously and put into action where necessary.  

Among Alistair’s contributions as an inspiring leader is his close involvement in the expedited launch of Anabas’ employee assistance programme during the pandemic to provide a confidential 24/7 helpline, and support on legal, financial, and medical issues. He also launched the ‘Art of Brilliance’, a positive psychology and resilience training programme designed to equip every member of staff with the tools they need to personally feel their best every day, cultivating a positive, can-do attitude both at work and at home. 

We value how Alistair makes it easy for staff at any level, to speak to him directly – and he’s a great listener. Alistair takes the time to get to know our 700-strong team, from the frontline to head office, making a point of knowing colleagues names and career aspirations.
