Anabas’ Managing Director, Alistair Craig, and Learning and Development Manager, Kirsty Gaunt, are recognised as Inspiring Leaders in the Inspiring Leader 2020 awards organised by Inspiring Workplaces.
Alistair Craig won his inspiring leadership recognition in the C-suite award category and Kirsty Gaunt in the manager category. Both demonstrated their unrivalled commitment to the wellbeing of all Anabas colleagues and their heavy involvement in nurturing the company’s strong team spirit as they steered the company through the pandemic. They are now among two of 55 Inspiring Leaders around the world, recognised from the C-Suite to the frontline.
The Inspiring Leader awards were created to recognise individual excellence, those that contribute to making their business, their community and the world a better place. 2020 was the award’s inaugural year and focused on recognising inspiring leadership during the global pandemic. All entrants were nominated by their peers and the entry had to demonstrate four key qualities that they believe defines an inspiring leader; they are humane, they are courageous, they communicate, and they unleash potential. Winners were announced on Friday 29th January.
Alistair Craig, Managing Director of Anabas, said: “It’s an honour to have been put forward by my colleagues and to be recognised as an Inspiring Leader by Inspiring Workplaces. 2020 wasn’t without its challenges but we have a fantastic team here at Anabas and we’ve made great progress together. I’m proud of every member of the Anabas family. You can’t be an Inspiring Leader without the support of an inspiring team around you, so thank you to all my Anabas colleagues.”
Kirsty Gaunt, Learning and Development Manager, added: “I am absolutely thrilled to be recognised as an Inspiring Leader. I’m proud to be part of such a people focused company and I’m grateful to have been nominated for this award. Knowing that my work is making a difference means a lot.”
Due to its success and the incredible impact made by candidates this year, Inspiring Workplaces will continue with running the Inspiring Leader award again next year.
