Anabas appoints two new strategic roles

April 7, 2025

Strengthening our service delivery, Luke Morris has stepped up as Head of Service Strategy and we’ve welcomed Darren Kent as Projects and Engineering Manager, reinforcing our commitment to client value and operational efficiency.

The new roles reflect our continued growth and focus on providing more proactive, insight-led facilities management. Both appointments bring fresh expertise to complement our operational excellence.

Luke Morris, previously an Account Manager at Anabas, now leads on aligning FM delivery with clients’ long-term goals. He focuses on driving efficiencies, embedding best practice, and improving the workplace experience. His role is key during contract transitions, ensuring smooth mobilisation and strategic clarity from day one.

Speaking about his new role, Luke said:

“Our clients now have a dedicated point of contact who focuses on the long-term strategic direction of their FM delivery. This not only ensures we meet expectations but also positions us to exceed them, creating exciting opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.”

Darren Kent brings decades of hands-on experience across engineering, building maintenance, and facilities management to his new role. He plays a critical part in supporting clients with engineering project works requiring dedicated planning and technical oversight. Another key focus of his, and one that aligns with an ever-emerging trend in FM, is sustainability. This involves looking for opportunities to innovate and offer clients energy-and money-saving solutions.

Reflecting on the role, Darren commented:

“Additional works often come with little warning and the potential to disrupt operations. I’m here to manage those projects proactively and ensure they’re completed with minimal impact.”

Tim Hysom, Operations Director at Anabas, added:

“These appointments mark a significant step in our ongoing growth. Luke and Darren are dedicated to aligning our service commitments with our clients’ long-term goals. Their combined expertise is already delivering tangible value, and we’re excited to see the continued impact they’ll make across our client base.”

We would love to hear from you
